History
Truett Cathy opened the first Chick Fil A at the Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta, Georgia in 1967. After being in the fast food industry for 15 years, Cathy tried offering something different in an era when people immediately think of hamburgers when they hear the word fast food. Their specialty chicken fillet sandwiches immediately caught the attention of the mall goers because of its distinctive taste and the ability of the restaurant to serve their orders fast. Since then, the brand has been growing and expanding throughout the country, providing their customers with real chicken sandwiches and other fresh delish meals offered at an affordable price.
