HISTORY
In 1964, Forrest and Leroy Raffel opened the first Arby’s in Boardman. They thought of putting up a fast food business that does not focus solely on hamburgers. They started with a limited menu that concentrated on roast beef sandwich, which was their specialty.
The unique idea caught the interest of prospective customers; hence the restaurant’s success. At present, Arby’s remains one of the top choices for affordable gourmet sandwiches.
