Zoe’s Kitchen brings the flavors of the Mediterranean to the shores of America. They boast of dishes that are perfectly balanced with full flavors and nutritional value. They guarantee their customers a unique experience everytime especially with their freshly-crafted dishes made from premium ingredients. They serve fare that is light and extremely healthy, with a menu that features salads, pita, grilled, and classic sandwiches, as well as mouth-watering entrees and sides. Currently, Zoe’s kitchen has locations in 15 different States, with its headquarters located in Plano, Texas.
History
Zoe’s Kitchen was named after Zoe Cassimus, the mother of founder John Cassimus. The first restaurant opened in 1995 in Jefferson County, Birmingham, while a second location opened 4 years after. In 2001, their third location opened in downtown Birmingham opening doors to bigger success and more expansions. In the same year, the restaurant opened a 4th store outside Birmingham, located in Tuscaloosa.
After 5 years, they were able to expand into 16 restaurants, majority of which can be found in Alabama. Today, they continue to grow and innovate their services, reaching more customers all over the United States. As of March 2015, they currently have 140 restaurants serving customers throughout fifteen states in the US.
